Seminars
Here you will find information on the seminars that will be offered by the Pan-Canadian Society of Analytical Psychology in various provinces of Canada.
Eranos, an ancient Greek word meaning “banquet” or “giving and receiving,” was founded in 1933 by Olga-Fröbe Kapteyn on the shores of Lake Maggiore at Ascona. It continues to be a setting where renowned interdisciplinary speakers lecture and discuss their work with colleagues and attendees. Past presenters have included: C.G. Jung, Marie-Louise von Franz, Erich Neumann, Richard Wilhelm, Joseph Campbell, Mircea Eliade, James Hillman, Hayao Kawai, David L. Miller, Victor White, Wolfgang Giegerich, and so on.
Often, after the lecture, the speaker and guests would gather informally at a table near the lake to continue the discussion and enjoy the surroundings.
